Learn More
During an initial assessment, we complete a subjective assessment to find out more about your problem, screen out any concerning or medical related issues first. We also want to know your goals and longer term plan to help us design your recovery pathway.
We then move on to the physical objective assessment which may include a variety of movements, strength and ligament tests alongside some nerve and special tests to rule out some structures.
We often go into the gym to do more robust functional testing if your presentation requires more testing or your aspire to get back to sports.
We combine all find the root cause, treat the symptoms and working together to develop your recovery plan. We explain this fully using our whiteboard method and then send your a Client Plan alongside your exercise rehabilitation plan after the session.
This service is a staple of our clinic and is vital for any new problem or new patient to the service.
Sessions also available at home and virtually on request.
